The tallest tower in Shanghai at the moment, we were on the 89F.
But next to it, a taller building is being built now, by Japanese people.

크리스마스때 홍콩을 찾아온 혜인냥과 주현이
뭘 했는지는 모르겠으나 우리는 계속 마냥 바빠서
이날 먹은 인도 음식이 제대로 먹은 몇끼 안되는 식사였다 ㅋ

Happy new year, Sae Hae Bok MANI deul Bat A Yo...
I'm back from Shanghai, I went there last weekend to see my parents. My two busiest sisters couldnt make it but I had fun with my parents. I've been ordering Man Doo whenever I went, just tried to get the right one for Shalongbao... But either I order something wrong(instead of steamed one, I used to order pan-fried one) or they were just not available. Ironically enough, the best Shalongbao we got was from Din Tai Fung. The taste was pretty much same as the one in Korea, or better yet, I got better ones in HK... Anyways Shanghai was the BIG MASSIVE city with huge changing.

I definately need a laptop, I'm so desperate now... I need to get one this week end and that's the top priority this weekend lol.. Weather got bit chilly this week, it fell to 10 degrees this week. Work got more stressful. The old good days of idleling and slacking has gone,I'm trying to push myself to perform, yet not everything is working out so far, first of all, I'm still hopping on and off other people's desk. That will be only fixed next week and I will get my own seat, and I will start to feel myself (we are out of seat, and I'm taking seats of whoever is on holiday. Sofar, some one was on holiday everyweek).


Cannot wait to get a laptop, want to write in Korean now hahahah

Anyways, happy new year everyone. It's so lucky that the first day of the week is Wed already. 2 more days to go and it's weekend again!!!

Merry Christmas

Yes,

It's officially just before the christmas but i can't feel the christmas that much here. Imagine it's 23 degrees during the day and I've been walking round with sleeveless shirts today. Anyways, fortunately I have some friends coming over so it will be fun here! Hope you all have great christmas with families and loved ones, bye~

first week

I didn't bring lap top here so now I'm at a smoothie place where I have internet access

A long day, from 7.20am till 8.30 pm. And that is because I'm not working as much as others yet. If I actually get to work, which will take a week more or so, then my TOE-GUN time will be delayed by an hour or so. Don't know why but people here looks like to have a lot to do. When I left the office at 8.30pm, they were still there....

Weather? Great
Office? Nice big pantry selling half priced food/ coffee, but very stressful atmosphere
House? Much better than 2 years ago. Not absolutely maybe, but relatively
Eating? Been a little bit of problem , nothing to eat!!! (although I had 2 burgers this sunday and duck yesterday for dinner :0 )
People? Haven't met anyone yet

Hoping my face would change from :o to :D soon

자전거 많이 타더라... 버스비랑 교통비가 워낙 비싸서 그런가?

아까 붕어빵 파는 그 시장에서

기모노를 입은 여성들이 참 많이 돌아다녔다
어린 고등학생, 결혼할 나이 되어보이는 아리따운 싱글 여성들 (혼자 혹은 둘이 혹은 여럿이)
결혼한 아줌마가 남편과 함께,
그리고 할머니들까지

왜 저사람들이 기모노를 입고 (무지 추워보였는데 내가 있을 때는 날이 무지 추웠으므로) 돌아다닐까
이해가 잘 안갔었는데 나름대로 뭐랄까,
잘 차려입고 고운 사진 단풍과 함께 찍는 것이 큰 이유였던 것 같아

이 뒷모습이 아름다운 여성이 혼자 저렇게 초록빛과 잘 어울리는 기모노를 입고 이곳에 나타났을 때,
이것이 아름답다고 생각한 사람이 나 혼자만이 아니었음은 당연하다

외국인 사진사 부부인지 여튼 커다란 삼각대와 사진기 세트를 바퀴달린 들것에 두고
사진을 찍고 계시던 70대 노부부가
이 여성을 발견하더니,

이 여성한테 들키지 않게 시선을 자꾸 딴 데에 두면서 카메라 셔터를 연속적으로 눌러대는 것이다
노부부 중에서 특히 할아버지가 매우 적극적이어서
할머니는 오데 있는지 신경 쓰지도 않고
이 기모노 입은 여성이 움직이는 대로 졸졸 따라다니면서, 그러나 사진 찍는 것이 들키지 않도록
연신 이 여성의 모습을 사진기에 담고 있었다

몇 가지 생각이 들었지만
제일 먼저는 같은 공간에 있었던 비슷한 나이의 같은 '여성'이었음에도 불구하고
나의 존재는 철저히 소외되었다는 (이건 사실 너무도 당연했을지도 모르지만) 사실이
왠지 억울하고 서글펐다는 것이다

난 잘 걸어다닐 수 있도록 런닝화 운동화와 큰 숄더백을 메고
멋없는 청바지를 입고 큰 코트로 온 몸을 둘러싸고 역시 이 여자 뒤를 졸졸 따라다니고 있었다

이 여자가 너무 질투 스러워서 사진 찍는 할아버지가 살짝 얄미워지기까지 이르렀다

찍으려면 당당하게 찍지,
눈치 보면서 이 여자의 동선을 놓치지 않으려고 애쓰는 모습이
너무나 역설적으로 얄미워진건,

뭐 상식적으로는 잘 이해하기 힘들지만
그랬다고

나라에 하루 갔을 때,
기차역 옆에서 만들고 있는데 이건 모찌+인절미.
쑥인가 녹차가루로 만든(기억 안남) 모찌위에 콩가루 씌운건데
저렇게 바로 만들어서 콩가루 바로 뿌려 주니깐 정말 맛났다
그리고 한동안 배부르다

내가 있을때 마침 때가 되어서 갔더니,
