8.00 am

woke up at my alarm. needed to go to travel agency. today is practically the last day to confirm the travel schedule

9.00 am

started to call travel agencies
figured my friend cannot make it to Guilin, my first candidate
only got shenzhen to guilin flight, not hong kong to guilin
meaning i have to go to shenzhen and come back from shenzhen to hong kong myself
and the flight is late

the manager of the apartement said it's not desirable
(he was even questioning why i have to go to shenzhen bymyself)
i was in a total mess

travel agencies close at 1pm so i needed to hurry


11.00 am

headed to TST to go to the agency i was talking with
even there i was so confused whether i should make it to Guilin/Yangshuo myself or,
go back to Korea instead or,
should join Poonsuk to Beijing



12.30 pm

got a call from Poonsuk
heard Flight +Hotel for 4D3N is round HK$3,000
decided to join him to Beijing finally
headed back to Sheung Wan

12.50 pm

went to one travel agency round myplace
made a reservation for the flight + hotel from this coming Fri to next Mon
(Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival 中秋, so I get one holiday and will take Fri off)

but i could feel that the agent was not too happy because she desperately wants to go home
and we were there the last minute!!

2.00 pm

went to Causeway Bay to one nice bookstore, PageOne

i went there last night with Clive to buy lonely planet,
but wanted to check out more books

bout Manadarin thingy and French book
though i've been too lazy not even trying to pick up some French!
there are just heaps of french in the office
and i have no idea what there are talking about when they talk in french

now i will try to pick up some


lunch :: sushi + greek salad
(huh! greek salad costed me HK$21 and it was just this small!!)


5.00 pm

headed to SOHO, starbucks

you know what it's so samll
i had to wait like 15 min to just get a seat
but fun view there


counted how much money i spent yesterday and today
(believe me, i am practically broke even before the travel)


6.00 pm

got mexican food (cheap and tasty) take out


7.00 pm

bump into Poonsuk around Sheung Wan

he just woke up ( i could see) and was on the way to Cali Fitness

7.30 pm

my laundry was back
had food in the room listening to
Shostakovich, Travis, Elliot Smith


10.00 pm

called family
called BK (he was still so funny)

11.00 pm

still listening to music

12.00 pm

still listening to music *Bach* French Stuite so beautifully cute

12.20 pm

still listening to music but probably will go to bed soon
i am meeting Philip tomorrow, who was one of the finance classmates back in Perth
he's hong kong and just a few days ago i contacted him
